The Future of The NBA: How can Zion Williamson Change the Game?

New York Knicks, with a loss of 10 games straight (23-of-25) and no home game wins ever since December, dropped down to the bottom-liners of the NBA.

A record of 10-39 gave them the worst winning percentage of the NBA at 0.204. In February, they traded half of their team and Kristaps Porzingis to clear up cap space of nearly $75 million to sign two top-liners—Kyrie Irving & Kevin Durant—and tank to draft in the Blue Devils’ five-star phenom—Zion Williamson. Though there is a slight possibility of the inexecution if Durant changes his mind, there’s still a 95 percent chance that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant move to the New York Knicks, as reported by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith

On a brighter side, Zion Williamson had already announced his decision about heading to the NBA in April. After a look at the situation, here’s why we believe that the NBA will face a massive upsurge, if their team is led by these three mega stars.

Kyrie Irving—all 6’4”, 194 pounds of him—is among the top 5 point guard. And the Knicks will definitely proliferate if he decides to leave the Boston Celtics. Irving was selected as one of the 10 players that were voted for being the starter for the game. The fact that his fans voted him makes it special and signifies his position among his followers and his performance level. Earlier, pairing him with Lebron James lead to huge success—three finals straight & one championship—and hopefully, his pair with another sterling superstar Kevin Durant will remain incomparable.
According to Wikipedia.org, Durant is the 10th highest scoring NBA player with his determination backed by the urge to improve his current reputation. As a cherry on top, he too is among the top 5 point guards, with a height of 6-9 and an enormous wingspan of 7-5.

Knicks decided to tank and gave up a season to get the 6-foot-7, 285-pounds Duke’s phenom on board. With his follower-base of 2.3 million on Instagram & 191,000 on Twitter, the NBA is set to attract a huge fan base and earn an estimated $1 billion, only through the half of his career at NBA. As the reports state, only three athletes have been able to reach that level—Tiger Woods, Floyd Mayweather & Michael Jordan.

According to the Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski, Williamson comes with an enormous built box-office appeal. He has an outstanding average of 20.7 points and 9.5 rebounds. Not only Williamson is an excellent player—most famous for his dunks—he also is a charismatic leader, one reason why he is successful with all his endorsement deals.

According to Bob Dorfman, everything about him—from his posture to his IQ—is perfect (he reportedly earns more than a million dollar only by wearing Puma’s apparel and shoes). We believe, NBA’s decision to tank was worth it after all!

We believe, a team led by these three bonafide stars will be no less than a gigantic powerhouse for the NBA and gaining its reputation and revenue back. Our analysis tells us that this might be the best time for the sports enthusiasts to bet on New York Knicks.
